What is Hallucination?

A hallucination is when an AI model produces information that sounds confident and plausible but is actually false or made up.

Hallucinations happen because language models predict likely text, not verified facts. They're the main reason a human must stay in the loop for important work.

kenai teaches practical habits — grounding, verification and good prompting — to catch and prevent hallucinations before they cause problems.
